Hey guys, just dug out my old VM and am so pleased that this forum is up and running. I'm planning on showing some of my friends who are newer to paintball how well an old school workhorse marker can compete with their shiny fancy markers! I think I'll be keeping most of my VM as is with the possible exception of a barrel. However, since my bottles are out of hydro certification, I'm looking at the possibility of other gas options, any ideas? Definitely welcome any and all suggestions. Cheers

Stick with Co2. There's a thread just below that discusses it. Crude, dirty gas is the only way to aspirate the VM! Welcome aboard, and by all means, get some photos in here!

Here's the paint throwing arm workout! The back bottle asa is still mounted and capped just under the stock mount. ![]() I'll probably fab an aluminum rear mount once I get back into shop, this was really just a can it fit build.
