I've delt with this seller. the seller seems shady. I'd steer clear of them. You may actually get junk that can't be restored becasue you won't be able to find the parts to replace what's bad.

Word of advice...Vms that look like that, stay away from. It internals are properly rust, and pitted to the point of deformity and the inside wall of the body is also pitted, not tomention stripped screw holes and dry rotted orings. and worn out trigger springs.

Dealt with the seller as well..they're legit and mostly fine, but yeah..WYSIWYG on their guns for sure. They were offloading a ton of Pro-Carbs, one of which I wanted specifically for a good frame. I messaged asking specifically for a POS with a good frame..and got a POS with a good frame and no frame internals.

You are going to get a project gun, no doubt; expect rust, a crapload of crap gunked in, and serial numbers etched in.

My EXC is working fine, TYVM. I saw this, and all I can say is, based on the picture, the guy was being honest. He said it was filthy, inside and out, and that it did not work.

Looking at it, and the fact that a VM does not work.......Well, it is way beyond anything I would tear into, but I know there are some miracle workers out there who love projects

The cost to repair it over shadows not only street value, but also any sentimental value. It would be an albatross around ones wallet. Once that rust chemically reacts with the thin anodized layer of the aluminum, it's a goner. It's not like restoring a car.

I wonder what the story is though? Was it in a flooded storage room or found at the bottom of a creek on a paintball field?

The VM is almost all but indestructible, but mother nature can make anything her b_tch.

no, most likely, these were kept in crates in a no temp controlled environment with cement floors and never cleaned.

Whoopie. I just won this auction too.

Sure hope I didn't just buy a boat anchor. Guess it'll be sitting on my work bench along with the 6 other markers I have in teardown.

Sure hope my wife doesn't find out.

Long hair will make thee look dreadfully to thine enemies, and manly to thy friends: it is, in peace, an ornament; in war, a strong helmet; it... deadens the leaden thump of a bullet: in winter, it is a warm nightcap; in summer, a cooling fan of feathers.
