VM to Cocker barrel thread adapters

I talked to Lapco and they said they would be willing to do a small run of VM to Cocker barrel thread adapters ... I don't know what the minimum number is yet. I'll know more after D-Day as most of their staff is away right now. Post up if you are interested and I'll start a list and update as I get more info.

I have one I no longer need. I now have a freak front for my vm and I have sold my cocker barrel.

As an idea you might hit up Noxx up under the airsmith section here and see what the costs would be for a VM freak back. I have one of Doc Nickel's freak backs for my VM and it's really nice. Problem is that grumpy old polar bear doesn't make them unless you are willing to pay through the nose. So I'm grateful to have one. The extra cost might out weigh some factors.

I can not comment on the LAPCO adapter. When I learned of the LAPCO adapter I also heard of Doc's freak back for the VM. Either way you are better off as picking up freak sleeves or cocker barrels on ebay is cheaper than getting your hands on a VM barrel of unknown condition and unknown ID.

Better idea...Let Noxx55 borrow your backing so he can make duplicates.

I know Noxx is busy right now from reading his posts. But I would loan him my freak back if he requested it from me directly.

So you don't trust me. Ouch.

LOL - yes he is busy, but if he wants the job, I will inform him about this thread.

Do you find your Doc's Machine custom freak back backs out at all? I have one too and played with it for the first time this past weekend and I found that it backs out during play. I don't recall my other barrels doing that though it has been many years since I last played.

Did you also get the wee Freak Front that Doc was offering at the same time too?
