I have been using a VM-68 for only a few weeks now (and absolutely loving every moment of it ) but I think I have learned almost everything I need to know about how to use it. I just have two questions; 1) I have seen quite a few pictures of VMs with the tank coming out of the back of the marker. I am assuming that it is a part that one can buy, so what would that part be and where could I get it if I wanted one? (And the question that I should have had answered earlier...) 2) When I got the VM it came with a valve tool, but I can't figure out where it fits. Where does it go? Also if there is anything else that I should know about please speek up |

First off post up some pics! The Magnum was the model with the back bottle, I don't think you can modify yours easily, and it would be cheaper just to buy a magnum anyway, watch the f/s boards here.... I have a valve tool too and I have never used it, I think you use t to remove the valve from the body, and seems to me there is something about velocity adjustment too ![]() Here is my beloved...

They used to make aftermarket backbottle adapters, along with vert adapters, 45-degree adapters, and assorted bottleline setups. Most VM owners, at one time or another, tries to attach 3-4 tanks at once. Those backbottle adapters pop up once in a while here (ie Bacci, etc). You could rig one easily enough using a mag vert adapter (2-screw style), and bolt it to the rear plug. The valve tool is used to remove, and adjust the valve. It has 4 "settings" used to alter FPS along with the bolt. Its such a hassle that people generally just leave at the highest setting, and adjust down via the bolt as needed.
