2 Angel LCD Questions

Purchased this Angel and when it came in I had a couple questions

1) Detent is shot, any way to rebuild it?

2) The rotobreach wont open and no matter how far I unscrew the ram is wont pull the

bolt far enough out of the breach to open the breach. It will shoot just fine, but I cant

open the breach. Any Thoughts?

First make sure the bolt is pushed all the back
Another problem could be the bolt stop plug could be missing so the bolt is going to far back.
Just take your time

I fixed the detent with a dental pick and got the dirt out, and the gun shoots money, I just cant figure out why the bolt is so far foward (ive tried all of the obvious solutions).

And why I cant get the bolt to go back so I can open up the breach

This may be a dumb question but you are pulling the release knob for the breach correct? You sure it's actually going back far enough?

When you adjust the ram you have to use allen on the ram head to keep it pushed all the way back. If you adjust ot with the breech closed use a wooden or plastic spoon to push the bolt back

Hope it helps

Actually that how you adjust the snap ring. The adjust the ram depth you remove the back plate, then you'll see on the ram 2 small holes on either side of the ram this is where you can back the ram out. What you'll need is either the ram extracting tool or if you have a small snap ring plyers turn the ram out counter-clockwise. This will allow the breach to open.

Im pretty sure the breach was modified to sit this far foward because of the eyes

that were installed, when the ball drops in the breach there is very little rollback which

is pretty unusual for a gun this old.

Maybe it has a JAM bolt? I assume you tried pushing it back towards the rear of the gun with a finger down the feedneck?
