I Am taking down a G7 I bought and finally got around to servicing. What do ya know, no stem spacer. Will it run fine without it? I notice it has freefloating and captured design while the valve body would support it also. What do you think? When I got it I touched the high points of maintainence and remember taking the stem out. I am more methodical to miss putting a spacer back in. I mean its possible but not likely. Only put about 100rnds through it when I bought it to taste the wdp experience and decided entire take down would be nice and here I am. |

Its a spacer that fits on the valve stem for the main valve in front of the hammer. It is of two piece design that does not come apart. There is a spring within that returns the cup seal to the valve. The spacer fits the over piece that indexes into plug in front of the reciever; it does not move. Im thinking since the piece moves only because there is slight tolerance in its index hole, a spacer is only precautionary design. Anyone with angel history concer or condem?
