These are upgradeable? I am going to put the finishing touches on it and use it as is, but I'm into spending more time and money than is reasonable it seems!!

I guess they made boards and upgraded internals, though i dont really see any need to upgrade that stuff if it is currently working. If your battery works well then i wouldnt worry about replacing that either. Get a barrel kit, clamping feedneck, on/ off asa that works like it is supposed to, and get that puppy re-annod. The dust anodizing on mine scratched off if i looked at it too hard.
Oh, if the sensi stopped working (just throwing out a guess, but i suspect it has) then you can spend some $$ getting it back up or put eyes in it. Now THERE is a good way to throw your money at it.

I hear ya on the anno...it's beat. I just bought a charger at radio shack so I'm going to see if it takes a charge. Got some air in that steelie too! It looks like the sensi rod and wiring is all intact, of course that is the f.u sentence!! Thanks for the advice , appreciate it. I'll let you know how it turns out.

well it appears as if the battery is shot....after charging for more than 4 hours on a 12volt charger it wont turn on after i unplug it....any ideas?
|gainman ||04-16-2012 10:59 AM |
did you have it turned to the on possition while charging?
|shooter4life ||04-16-2012 11:24 AM |
Yes it was lit up and showing the battery bar going back and forth. I think the battery is toast. Has anyone had any luck with he gentleman from cherry hill nj selling angel battery packs?

unless you absolutely want to keep it stock I would not bother. It is expensive and will just go bad eventually anyway. best thing you could do is hunt for a virtue board (used) or do the pmr board swap to use 9v.
