| PPS WDP CCI AKA DYE | hehe, thanks! i'm missing an LCD, IR3, '05 speed, and G7 Fly (and if you wanna get picky, '06 speed too) but i think i'll manage...i hope to eventually get a nice LCD from one of my friends that's morlocked with breakbeam eyes... we'll see where that deal goes, i really want it...and then perhaps an IR3 to fill the gap between old and new.

| I have but one... A 2k1 Cobra Mamba LCD that I got as an Xmas present. I have one question for you Angel collectors though... How, if at all, do you keep your Angel batteries/boards happy in "storage"? I hardly ever break out my Angel, but when I do, I never know whether I will be able to get it running at all, but at a minimum, it will take hours to get it going. Any hints for storing an Angel? | Thanks for that link... I may have to give those boys a call. As a result of this thread, I pulled my Angel out of it's case last night and plugged her into my car's cig lighter. She assumed all the proper charging lights and I left her out there all night. After about 12 hours, I went out to check on her. The charging lights were off and she showed a 3/4 full power "bar" in the LCD. I gassed her up and, although the trigger felt a little stiff, she shot like new. What fun these guns are! Anyway, I think I might have fired the gun about 100 times or maybe less and suddenly I had some problems getting the balls to go all the way out of the barrel. I looked at the grip and it appeared that the battery was already dead! No reading at all! I turned her off and on again and achieved some normal performance shots but then zzzt, nothing. Battery dead. Maybe I shoulda given the intellifeed a rest... <grin> Not sure if I should bother trying to charge her up again or just forget it. I never use her and perhaps I should just let her be. I guess it will depend on the details of the TAG deal. How long is the 9volt supposed to last? I guess the intellifeed option is out, right? Cheers, D. |

| MCB Member | Not really sure about 9 volt life But they are cheaper than what WDP sells. You can buy the angel batteries at Radio Shack, but you have to solder the pack together. They aren't special batteries. You can more than likely get them cheaper. Me I'm going with the TAG option. Once I'm in my new home and the wife is happy I'll sneak it out lol. I like options and I like shooting the players that dont know what you have lol. You know those guys that are out there lol. Later, Blackrain ![]() |
