A1 Fun-I broke it

I am a recovering autococker owner which means if its not broke I can make it better.

I recently got an A1 and love it but wanted to try magno parts

So I replaced the valve with magno parts and changed to an str ram

I replaced the mini-reg with an AKA 2 liter because it started leaking

Tested and couldn't get the velocity above 230

Got the gauges out
200 psi input (forgot to switch valve stems while checking)
Lpr was at 60 and has no shims on it

Put it together and it leaks out the top and back of the gun not through the valve
Seems to be the lpr to me

Lpr now at 30 psi and marker won't fire at all, the solenoid clicks

Tell me this is an easy fix

Try putting it back like it came to you and see if it still gives you issues. Then start changing out one part at a time until you find the one causing you the problem.

The spring stack was in the wrong order which explains why the pressure dropped. Would that cause a leak?

I guess that it can cause a big leak. Everything is back in place with str ram and magno parts with no leaks. I can't check the velocity until the morning though.

So with the str and magno parts the velocity is still about 150 fps.
Inline reg at 200 psi
LPR is at 58-60

So unless there is any other wisdom I will start changing out parts back to stock and then start over from there.

Thanks
David

All Stock Parts Back In

All of the stock parts are back in and it still has velocity under 200. What else could I have done?

I played with it yesterday and it seems ok. I ended up putting in the new D-lite valve and stem that I was saving for the future and it works good. I was able to get to usable velocity. I have not had the heart to open it back up and check the input pressure yet.

I don't know why the other valves would not work including the stock one that was working just minutes before.

I tired the magno kit with a brand new valve stem (the other valve stem's cup seal had seperated)
I tried the used D-Lite kit but it leaked like mad. Not sure it it was through the valve or around it.

I have the stock ram in for now and will try the str again in the future.
I may get it set up to be re-buildable first.

I will check the pressure and post when I can work up to it.
