angel not shooting correctly

so i have a 04 speed, and put a dm frame on it, it is cycling but not shooting far or at high velocity , i have cleaned the gun, changed the battery , checked the noid &have the dwell set high. running out of ideas and options , could it be that it needs a LP tank to shoot correctly? any ideas or comments would be appreciated

your LPR pressure may be low.

no. Angels went "LP" starting with 03/04 speeds. What that means is if you use an HP output reg, you may not be able to lower your velocity down to below 300fps (ie: you would be shooting hot).

Set the dwell at 12ms. you can also try adding a couple shims to increase the LPR pressure (ideally you would have the LPR gauge to see what the pressure is). Make sure your LPR springs looks like this: )()(

are you getting "low velocity/doesn't shoot far" only with the first shot? or all shots?

speeds require a lp tank. im pretty sure low velocity can be a result of having to high of pressure. check to see if your mini reg has the hp mod. you can find a how to on pbnation

Have you set the ram stroke?
Clean the ram and set the stroke so that the breech is tight when you close it.

And no it will not shoot low because of HP tank.
