At that point you're still spending $60-$110 which leaves you breaking even if you're only $10-$60ish in to the marker. Not an ideal "flip" situation - at that point you'd do better to buy real charger and battery for the same money.

If it's a drop-in 9V with a UTB and no milling it might just work but again if it's going up for sale is it worth it to do that?

This is really where I am. I would keep it for a loaner gun, but I am seeing that all the old guns I have collected have a very low demand/ resale price so I will be looking at a higher level of guns when/if I restock on guns.

Predator Board

They're still available, I believe, thru TheAngelGuy.com. I had mine converted years ago before the Pred Board company wan bought out. I've never been happier and have been meaning to send in my other LED but haven't gotten around to it. Runs off 9v in the existing frame. Super adjustable and just as fast as anything modern out there now

If it's got enough meat, yes, but stock frames don't. Again you run into the cost factor to flip it.

I think you'd do better to sell it as a broken virgin, honestly.

Me! But only once in the last 5 years... but the Adrenaline trigger, Gazarian snatch grip, and two extra chargers made it worth it LOL

I'm surprised no one mentioned going the two CR123 battery route with shim in the tube.
I've done this with a recent LED addition to my collection.

I tried that first. Had quite a bit of trouble getting the wiring small enough to fit in the tube with the batteries. Figured there had to be a better way.
