Rebuilding a 2k lcd ..... questions?

Hey guys, A while back I picked up a box of markers that were all in pieces. Including a really beat up 2k lcd .I disassembled it so i can clean all the years of gunk out of it. I'm having trouble with the pivot rod for the breech, just not sure how it's removed . I took both set screws at either end. Is the rod threaded in the body or just a slip fit ? How is a good way of removing it ? any ideas are appreciated. Also where could i find a rebuild kit for it ? seems i bit hard to find for me.

Thanks!
Rich A.

fixmyangel.com has the seals you need.

With both set screws removed from the breech rod the rod should be able to slide out.. need ti press it out with a different rod..allen key. Something like that. Years of gunk will have it down pretty well. Once everything is taken apart you could spray some oil with solvent in there like wd40 or hoppes or something..so long as it isnt anywhere near any of the other components, it may help with removal.

Otherwise id just tap it out with the other set screws removed.

Dont get too crazy. If you are doing something to hard, look again and see if there is a better way to approach.
