| Eye placement on Angel LCD I have decided to update one of my Angel LCDs with eyes, I have a predator boarded one, and a Lucky boarded one. IIRC The predator uses DM4 style eyes, and those are easy enough to find, but what I want to know is what is the right eye placement? I know Tag used to have the info on their site. I am afraid to drill them too high, and detect paint too soon and have to compensate with settings, or too low and not detect the ball at all. Any info is helpful. |

| Newbie | right below and a little behind the ball detent will do it for you. pretty much drop a ball in and see where it sits, i want the eyes to be low enough so the ball will be seated in the breech properly. heres a conversion i did right around the time the MT's started doing them.. its a bit rough but ir was my first. Now i can do an almost exact copy of the MT mod with all WDP/APS parts. This overparticular one used eclipse covers. I do apologize for the shoddy pix, this is from a few years ago. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
