Warped is good but not that many fields. Still fun though. Cpp was great but haven't been there since SC Village/Giant took it over ( planning to try there this Saturday). Paintball USA is no longer here and moved to simi valley. There is also fields of fire. Went there once and never went back.

Pricewise, Warped is the best. I personally like to wide open space, provides good ventilation. The fields are relatively varied. Town setting is nice, and their brush/woodsball field is pretty good too. I think they used to have two but only use one now. They have pizza for lunch, two portable johns, nice staff and referees. Next would be Field of Fire, as far as I know. The parking lot area has terrible pavement, and the main staging area is on top of a small hill, so maneuvering your car up there while trying to avoid the numerous potholes is a hassle. They have a pretty cool hyperball field. Their two scenario fields can be a bit of a turn off since they both sit on the hillside, so you'll always have one team with the advantage of higher ground. However, the teams are usually even and I had a great time when I went there. They sell chili dogs and other snacks for lunch, only one pota-potty, staff was pretty nice. California Paintball Park is part of the Giant chain, and though I've never been to CPP, I've been to other Giant parks and I wasn't impressed. Been to Paintball USA a long time ago when I was a wee lad, so I don't remember much. Lost Creek Paintball Park, I went to once, and it was awesome. Used to be called Conquest at another nearby location before they moved. You get real woodsball with trees and all that good stuff. I found out they were closed when I called a couple months ago. The person on the phone told me they'd reopen in ~April 2012, but I just checked their website and it's gone...hopefully they're not gone forever... |

I live in Santa Clarita and go to Warp'd most often. There is where you'll find the only Astro turfed airball field north of LA. Their field prices are the lowest in the valley as well as their paint prices. Glenn strives to provide a quality experience to all his customers. He's been an accomplished Pro player and knows what people want. On their off days the refs from CPP and FoF go there, what does that tell you? Paintball USA is still there. It's in Canyon Country now. Expect to pay plenty though. CPP has good fields but they are a bear to get up to. That hill from the parking lot gets old real fast. Price wise they're more than Warp'd. Fields of Fire is town battles mostly. Quality pumpers go on Saturdays on the airball arena. Gilly
