if they'll fit, cloth diapers are a good choice... cut/fold to fit.

i don't hold much faith in the scotch-brite scrubby pads due to past experiences with my slightly modded Whoosh.

If I'm not careful and step in an unusual fashion, or just occasionally wear it out from playing all day, I will feel the knee "slip" a little, and it'll force me to stop and play a little less aggressively (through fear, not pain). I think this is going to be the way it is; it just means I won't be able to run like a maniac on uneven terrain, something I probably shouldn't do too often anyways, haha.
Aside from that, she's like 99.999999999999999% back to normal. Not bad for 8 months.

A combination of scotchbrite and a softer material might work. Gauze/cloth layer then scotchbrite?

Mattee cut up a sock? Might work.

Whee, I didn't have the same extent as you but I wounded my knee at jungle island :P I'm much better now guys. Looking forward to another game day.

Oh yeah Mattee, about that new ctf game type. I'll bring the hat to the next meetup. I'm sure everyone would like that.

I'm thinking of trying the fake sheepskin or "diaper" car towels. I'll have to see how much clearance the hood has when the cover arrives. Do you look for loose, open knit fabric or dense, tightly packed stuff like foam?

Whee, I owe you a PM. Working on it, been very busy.

I'm no scientist, but I figure something a tiny bit loose inside would allow a bit of dampening inside the raincover. That's just the way I think. The stuff in my raincover on the duckslide has gauze-like stuffing in it and it changes the sounds very well.

Sheepskin...that's a good idea. I haven't thought about that one. I would think that you want a combination of both. Do they operate differently?
No worries on the PM. You'll get to it when you get to it.

Anyone enjoying the Steam sale?

you want something that 1) won't extrude into the barrel, and 2) is either easy to clean or replace.

my suggestion, since surface area is also key along with a loose material to absorb the gas pressure - some manner of yarn
