There's quite a few in Garden Grove. Shik Do Rak is the one I used to go to. There's one in Irvine too.

Gen in Tustin isn't bad either. Used to have a really long wait on the weekends, not sure how it is now.

ty for the clarification to the shiitake mushroom spelling, but must i remind the fellow asians, that our elders( well mine for sure) would rather us NOT spend our money eating out when we can easily cook it at home. for instance, i plan on making a nice broth out of chicken feet, lotus root, star anise and white fungus for dinner tomorrow....chicken feet..its whats for dinner!

seafood city markets...

but really you can ask for tendon in most Pho restaurants.

Chinese markets generally sell it. I know the 99 Ranch in Irvine does. It's used in the chinese beef noodle soup too.
