One of our guys (who has now quit because of it) spent about a grand on a decked out T68 that work for about half a day. He got it to stop leaking but it won't shoot over 220.

Tippmann internals, you say? I thought these things were Spyders inside?

Whooops. Not lapco. Autocorrect.... What I meant to say was tacamo. Isn't tacamo a rap4 brand?

Not trying to over deck it out. Just thinking of messing with the tippy. I'd hate to pay more than I got the marker for. Then I'd just get another marker.

I want to say those kits were the same but I might be wrong.

There's a Tippy in the regular BST right now with the conversion already done, fyi.

Mine was an early t68. It is essentially a poor copy of a 98 internally. They are inline blowbacks like tippmanns.

It's cheaper if I buy my own kit. Found a review. Good marks for the kit itself. People still complain about tippmann as a whole. I've never had an issue with mine. It just hasn't had any love. Hmmm. Ill think it over the next paycheck.

I gave up on Tippmann after having all three of my Phenoms have nothing but problems. The best gun they ever made was the A5, of which I still have one.
Very reliable. But after shooting Automags, I realized how big the kick in an A5 is.
I don't want to go to the field and spend half the day messing with my gun, or not playing at all. My Automag never fails me. And whatever might happen, it's fixed within 5 minutes, using one Allen wrench. Absolutely the most worry free marker Ive ever used.
And the Tac One looks badass.

I'm probably not going to either, but it looks like paintballgateway is having a store day at SC Village on Sunday and Pendleton is having a big game on Saturday.
