So a local field here in Utah is charging $65 for a case of paint! WTF! There is no reason for paint to be that expensive! The only reason I could think of for why it is so high, they got the paint custom done with a local teams logo put on it. I understand supporting your local team, but that's not a good enough excuse to rape me on paint! Good hell!

Thats it? Count yourself lucky. I've heard of cases of paint being as high as 150$. There are two fields within an hour drive of me that charge 110$ a case. Another one nearby is 130$. Lowest priced field paint around me is 80$ for a case of paint.

65$ is cheaper than the 200$ annual field membership price, which is 70$ a case. For a non field member, it's 140$ a case. At least it's not terrible paint. It's the only local field, so there is no competition.

I played boise, id and spent a lot of time playing there. A case of redemption cost $45! You cant beat that! There is no reason for places to be marking up paint so much. I know that's where most of their profit comes from but its tough to get regulars when paint costs more than the gas to get there! Now that I'm in Utah it looks like buying a scuba tank and playing outlaw is going to be the way to go! |

The best field around here charges $80 which I feel is a little high, but it does cut down on the Auto-lotto-hose-ball types. He does also offer a discount for those with memberships and the membership is only $50.
