Camp Pendleton...the marine base just north of San Diego. It is located near the south entrance to the base in Oceanside.

Is a must to play at though. One of cali's best. It is nice to play in a setting that is a wooded variety of many different terrains. Flat with small trails, wide open with bunkers, and my favorite the "Bowl". A field where the opposing teams start at the top of a valley on opposite sides. The middle area had old telephone wire spools for cover and the sides had trees and brush going all the way up. FuN FuN FuN

Tombstone was definitely an awesome place to play. You guys remember those quasi-Nova's they had for rentals? What were those things? I remember they had a peice of round rod for triggers and made a "slurp" sound as they shot. Had to be careful on that trench field; saw a guy jump in a fracture his leg. All games stopped for about an hour as the paramedics drove onto the field to get him to the hospital.
Sadly, I was only able to play there once.

Close Encounters was definitely my favorite field to play at the time. A little bit of everything on one big field.
Perfect for a sneaky bastard like me...

Okay I didnt read anything anyone wrote (not normall for me as Iusualy read everything) but Iv often said that MCB needs to be divided into the time zones. The each time zone can be broken down into a north and a south if that particular zone sees fit.

That makes a shocking amount of sense. I mean otherwise where do AK and HI go?

Not that I'm all concerned about a regional section, I mean how many people are actually from each spot... for that matter, I think I can name off the MCBers in AK from memory. But the whole organizational nature of myself gets going on it.
