the better half confirmed we should be good to go for that day/time - she is checking the travel details for Fluff Ice - Arc Light she thinks the Arc Light is above Fluff Ice (reference point LA) did you folks want to meet somewhere for an early dinner and a snack at Fluff Ice before hitting the Arclight?

keep in mind that I will be able to walk short distances only for the moment =P

If you guys did the 5north to the 101n the fluff ice(monterey park) is on the way. We could meet you there first.

But if you came up the 405 its way out of the way. Make sure she is thinking of the Sherman oaks arclight and not the pasedena or hollywood one.

Is it a gateway ice?

Usually we eat and drink, appetizers at least, at the arclight itself for convenience. But there is also an el Torito, Cheesecake Factory there, as well as "fancy" mall food. Like fudruckers?

The left over tickets I had have been taken. But there are still some seats available right next to us that I can buy if you speak up soon enough.

Like we talked earlier, 4pm sounds good.

I'm thinking we might leave a vehicle at em's sister's place and carpool/park less cars at the theater to pay less parking.

I saw it tonight on prescreening pass...

Good movie, though the cinematography is completely different than the Lord of the Rings movies. This one feels "too real". It seems like everything was filmed on "real" sets. The CG is good and bad. When it is good it is great... If not... well, you get the idea.

Peter Jackson followed the book closely.

All in all, a very strong B+ or weak A
