the better half is thinking that with arclight's strict on time policy maybe we should meet at fluff ice at 330 then consolidate cars and head out to dinner then the movie - thoughts?

Usually the food staff is aware of your show time and try to help you get to it. An hour and a half should be good enough to eat and not rush too much, and thats only if we didnt get there till 6. So fluff at 4 should be plenty

Good movie, though the cinematography is completely different than the Lord of the Rings movies. This one feels "too real". It seems like everything was filmed on "real" sets. The CG is good and bad. When it is good it is great... If not... well, you get the idea.

Peter Jackson followed the book closely.

All in all, a very strong B+ or weak A

Interesting, sounds good though.

How long do you anticipate the lines to be on opening weekend?

It's movies like this that make us choose arclight. Assigned seating when you purchase the ticket means no lines. We can be at the bar up till 5 min before the movie starts and still have time for a quick piss.
