i REALLY wanted to like TCP when it opened up, as it's 10 mins from my house; but honestly, a paintball field in the middle of a shopping mall parking lot? that's just a lawsuit waiting to happen (random ball flies over the netting, hits non-paintball-player's car - or a non-paintball player); the few time's i've been there, no one has ever checked the hydro on my tanks, or told people in the staging area to put a barrel cover on

That's where I as a player take charge in the staging area. Point out safety issues. And support the newbies. But them again it is frustrating that with as many refs they have watching the place, they don't catch that. That's my peeve.

On the subject of the cars being shot, I've only seen a kid do that once. And the ref said nothing. No recourse. Only happened once but I don't like that behavior going un-resolved and the red take no action to correct the behavior.

Outside of my own nit picking, it is rather convenient.

I'm off midweek This shift rotation, So ill check it out this coming Wednesday. Last few times I hit it in a Wednesday, a decent group showed up practicing. Less rentals, less drama, more focused play.

The paintball potluck is a private game. It was created with the intent of bringing back some of the old school tournament pump players. These are the same players and teams that battle each year at the Carter tournaments. The 1st one we had was free at HSP and we had over 40. And that was last minute. after meeting Bacci I Decided to open it up to the MCB group pump player. You guys are welcome to come just keep in touch with Bacci. This is probably the wrong place to be talking about.. Sorry to take conversation away from the limited paint game.

i'm not saying a car - or a person/non-player - getting hit would be intentional, just that, if it were to happen, it seems like a massive lawsuit waiting to happen.
for those not familiar with TCP, the airball fields basically butt-up against the mall's parking lot, and there's a road/drive that basically loops around the perimeter of the field... airball netting is only so high, and it's conceivable that an errant ball could fly past/over the netting and hit a car... or go through an open window of a car... or cause any number of things resulting in a lawsuit.

what would rock for the owner is if they built a small complex or some buildings on his plot. They got a nice size of the corner there from what I understand from a conversation with him. That way socal can have an indoor field.
