i had a TERRIBLE experience with WPN

stuff was ROCK hard

Purple Shell, Purple Fill, Looked like i was shooting grapes...
they hurt like a SOB

Valken up here was 1st released and was AMAZING, i mean best paint i'd shot
its just gone down hill and its all horrific...

Heck we won an event this last season, because the other team was shooting valken and it was bouncing off us, anything other than lens/gun and it WOULD NOT BREAK!

last time ANS shipped me paint (2 cases) i had 5 bags with breaks in it, and they never replaced it

Well I went the safe route and only picked up a bag of Valken, That is more than enough for one day of pump play but it's not so much that i'll get stuck with it if its crap. Thanks for all your input. So Stanchy, what do you shoot?
Next time around I'll pick up WPN grade, just to try stuff out.

i am a HUGE GI/DXS Guy

I played nppl in 2011 and psp in 2012, refused to shoot anything but the GI 5 Star

Locally for our tournys we had RPS/DXS/Valken, we shoot DXS Gold and it shot well, might be a little on the brittle side, but shot great when we needed it to, and were very happy with it

For practice we either shoot GI 1 star, DXS Sport or DXS Custom Field

Next time I'm at Warp'd, I'll let you try some Ultra Evil Panda.
There is no better in my opinion.
I'll be outta town the next two weekends though.

From what I have seen recently, your best bet would be Valken Graffiti. I have had very good luck with Valken paint. I used to be an RPS guy but the ever decreasing size of RPS paint, as well as the overall decreasing quality has made me a Valken convert.

I'm with gilly on the evil. I wasn't a believer till I snagged a case from Pendleton. They fit in my sheridans perfectly and were consistent sizes throughout the bags. Take good care of your leftovers. I had some go bad the next day because I didn't store them right.

XO is nice too. But strangely when the batch of XO I had "went bad" they turned hard instead if getting warped. Shot straight, broke painfully.

I recently tried a few cases of the PWI Smokin Dragon paint and was quite suprised by the quality. Shot very straight with right bore match. Had a bright fill and broke where it was supposed too. Bought it from Critical Paintball for $40 a case. Bore was about 684.

I have also tried Ultra Evil and regular Evil. Both are very small bore paint ( .672 to 675. ). Ultra is much more brittle so bore match is quite important because if you undersize your bore it will break in your barrel. Was dissappointed the last several times I used Evil because of all the dimples I kept finding.

I am too, depending on the marker. It's too fragile for some of my Sheridans and the Ultra that was sold through PBG is too fragile for my... anythings. Seriously. My Rotor was nearly chopping the stuff in half on its lowest setting. Guess what's going to be up for grabs for fweeeeeee at our game on Saturday?

I have a few that I like a lot but I also have very specific needs:

- Can stand up to a short-barreled Sheridan
- Fits in a .680 barrel
- Obvious stuff (breaks ok, flies straight, good size/shape out of the box)

My list...
Toxic: Was really good but the last batch I got was rubbery as all hell. It bounced off of everything, even Don (but that's to be expected). Size/shape/fill were all good.

Nelson Anarchy: Had it shipped in from Titus but still came to less than $60ish. It's probably my all time favorite in terms of shell/fill/breakage and I don't think I broke a single one in the breech using a Duckslide, .680 Sheridan, Zeus, or sniper. However, the new batches are much larger; great for most people, bad for us with a fixed .680 barrel.

Formula 13: New favorite. Inexpensive, very consistent, in no way excessively bouncy or brittle. I'm probably going to get another case before this weekend.
