Hey Tin Man...check back around the time of your earlier post as someone had offered you a ride I believe.

Can I join someone's carpool? I will chip in for gas. I'll keep the car clean and have a 2nd change of clothes.

I live in Santa Ana, 10 minutes South of Disneyland on Harbor Blvd. I can meet up on time at any convenient parking location near the 5, 22, 55, 57, or 91 freeway.

Less that a week away! What have you guys been up to? I've have cleaned my AKP 3 times. Got the pump stroke buttery smooth and spent a solid 20 minutes practicing my snap shooting. I've also been messing with my asa to change the length of the gun. Built up my part kits, cleaned my mask, threw my sword around, and made ninja noises. And we are STILL like 5 days away. Anybody know what size allen key is used for a Karnivor reg? I can't keep air in my house because my little brother is at the age wear he doesn't understand the dangers of hpa. Gotta sweet spot it at the field. I have a hunch that it wont be so hard with all the knowledgeable guys and gals around.

Hey Panda...yeah I worked on a BUNCH of stuff today as well...cleaning all my gear since I played BOTH Saturday AND Sunday...just glad I didn't hurt myself before the big game! You are correct...there will be a LOT of knowledgeable Autococker folks around so I would be surprised if you didn't get an answer pretty quick...I BELIEVE that it is a 3/16 for the Karni reg. I KNOW it is a 3/16 on my CCM Regs and thought it was the same but I COULD be wrong. In fact on of the techs that several of us take our cockers to should even be coming to Sunday but I'm hoping and I am sure he's hoping not to be fixing guns lol.

Cool, I think the largest Allen I have on hand is a 1/8, it's just a tad too small. I wish I could have played last weekend, but between SAT prep and my social life it was not gonna happen. An before anybody asks, no I do not have a Karni, just a Karni reg poor people problems. Oh, I should probably pack a quick and dirty first aid kit, as my dad says, "Its not a good day till someone is bleeding" and knowing my lack of good judgement when playing paintball, it just might be me. The velocity limit at SC village is 300 right? I'll probably crono in at 285 to eeek a few extra shots out of the tank. Plus, no one likes 300 fps up close.

you can get a full set of allen keys - SAE or metric - for under $5 at Harbor Freight... or just keep buying stuff and you'll probably end up with several sets...

What did you do to get the pump smoother on the AKP?

Having bought both the cheap sets at Harbor Freight and another set to replace it...I would recommend against the Harbor Freight set lol. It didn't take long to loose the edges on all of my allen keys from Harbor Freight...I bought 3 sets and they all ended up rounded off and stripping screws...I finally broke down and bought a set at OSH that I definitealy paid a bit more for but should have bought in the first place. Since then no issues. The metal on the set from osh is as good as the day I got it and have not rounded off at all and I haven't stripped out screws which is even better. Soooooo depending on how much you use them and how many guns you have I recommend spending a bit more and getting a better quality set that you only have to buy once. I do love Harbor Freight for LOTS of things but that wasn't the best buy I ever made there for sure. I got my oring pics there and those have been great! Just for example.
