| Conquest is better for the laid back scenario player. California Paintball Park is better for private parties and Tournament Players. The Paintball USA fields are a bit pricey and not as good.

| Luddite | Hey Nelsonbased (sp?) Eli meant no harm with his post. Notice the wink and he also works there like me. I really like Conquest for the people that go there and the depth of the fields. I personally know a lot of work has gone into the design and they simply play great. We only four, but each offers a unique experience. It's worth trying out. I met a few players from Fields of Fire at the NPPL/OSC event and hope to check it out sometime. Looks like they have a pretty regular group of pumpers going there. I've been to Agua Dulce (paintballusa) and had fun, but not worth the extra time to go there regularly. They have a huge 30 acre "outlaw" field that's played on once a day that makes for a unique experience. I'd say with worth going to every now and then to mix it up if you play every weekend. Jungle Island is a lot fun and run good walk-on games. You'll never play the same field twice there (well twice for each set). Worth the drive to play at. I haven't played their speedball area, the Compound, yet, but have heard great things about it. I've only played at SC Village for private games and had lots of fun. I hear their walk-on games tend to be nightmares with the massive amount of people that go there to play. CPP and Warped have decent Airball I hear, don't know too much about these two fields. My manager actually said Velocity down near San Diego was the best field he's ever been to. I'm hoping to make it down there for a pump day sometime. HSP and Giant. Owned by the same company as SC and from what hear and experienced at HSP not very well managed. Don't expect too many games on the scenario fields (I would say 8 games TOTAL a night). Oh, and Giant is tiny from what I hear. Go if you're close by. Hope this helps. |

| Before I moved, I played pretty much exclusively at SC and Pendleton. I vastly prefered Pendleton, while the drive was technically longer traffic to and from was much better on the 5 than the 91 (which I swear is FUBAR every day at every hour). There are a LOT less "agglets" at Pendleton as well. It wasn't a huge problem for us because we played private groups and only occasionally had to recruit from the walkon pool, but just the atmosphere in the parking area is better. I never had issues with people overshooting or shooting hot, or refs "forgetting" to chrono. The fields aren't quite as interesting as SC, though. |

As for other fields, the few I've been to didn't offer the same experience Conquest does. If you go, make sure you bring a cooler, a lawn chair, and an EZ-up if you have one. | |

| I know, I used to work for the Big Jew. We will be paying the $20 price. I told those idiots that I can get the same deal at CPP any day of the week but whatever.

| Please watch your language and anti-Semitic remarks. I take offense to "Jew" being referenced in this negative tone, and besides that not all Schwartz's are Jews. I think we can all be civil here. Please attack the man on personal principal, not on a religious/cultural identity. Thanks for your understanding.

| When I was stationed there I always played at Pendleton (the field was just up the road from my barracks). I only played once at SC Village, but they had a nice setup (I think), but they were comparatively expensive for me. The field fee was 25 bucks at the time (it seemed like a lot, then), but that's been some years ago. I loved the way Pendleton had theirs set up while I was there. Really good fundamental paintball. They also ran the field really well. My opinion should probably be discounted. Pendleton probably has an air compressor by now, and $25 field cost is probably common. I did, however, find a 9oz tank whilst crawling through the weeds at SC.
