Yeah, all of my post 98/99 Cockers have been an SFL, a Dark, and a Revenge v2SE. Omly stock Cocker body I own right now is an old pre-99 body converted to a pump that I bought off a friend. It is nice and smooth, though.

Cornnuts is correct. I'd guess it at a 1994-1995 due to the hard anodized finish and steel rods. 1996 was factory tapped for a detente, 1997 had stainless rods and the cut backblock.

That's a stock pot-metal frame on there, but the grips have been upgraded from the factory plastic panels to ViewLoader (VL) "45 grips", designed to add less of an angle to the front of the grip similar to the feel of a 45 frame. VL made some great replacement grips back in the day. These were fantastic and had a nice rubbery feel, and they also had the VL "Groovy Grips" that were also nice.

Really, about the grips? Looks like a Benchmark or PTP frame, to me. Can't tell from the photo. They always had that flat black anno look to them. Never seen what you are talking about, but it sure wouldn't surprise me. On my '95, first thing I did was have Bob install a detente, 45 frame and rock reg, as well as polishing my switch, and replacing the sheridan springs with a Nelson kit (rex dialer, I think I had put in). Wish I'd have kept that gun.

Would love to see a closer shot.

Here's a few odd colors for cheap of those grips. ViewLoader Grips - Copper

As you can see, they follow the rear line of the frame but add some thickness to the front to lessen the angle of the grip, more like a 45 frame.

No, no. I understood what you were saying. Just doesn't look like that to me.

Just my opinion. I do remember those grips, vaguely.
