I recently purchased a few pre 2K autococker bodies. What I can't figure out is where does the IVG go? There seems to be no threading for the IVG to keep the hammer spring in. Am I missing something here? I tried to find some sniper manuals with no luck. Any help would be appreciated...

Older bodies didn't have threaded IVG's. They used a different type of velocity adjustment. I don't have one, so I'm not sure what to use, but I just know that they were different. There are people who can thread it to take an IVG though.

Or does anyone know what to call the velocity adjustment that goes on a pre 2K autococker body? I will post a WTB for one.

Take out the cocking rod, insert a 1/4" allen key, rotate key to right to increase velocity, re-insert cocking rod. To access the hammerway: Remove grip frame Remove cocking rod Remove backblock Remove flat-head allen screw that retains the hammerway plug Everything should slide right out. |

I want to know what the piece looks like or what is it called, that holds the hammer spring in.

I used to have an older Cocker with that setup - I found a sleeve that was compatible with Nelson springs that made my life a lot easier when it came to tuning.
