Shroud off.. if you use tophats, you wont have the issue of your hoses blowing off. ive taken many a hit to the front block with no problems.

My friend had a 2k3 vertical feed, with palmers and belsales front block, aka valve, pps stab. He painted it a crappy camo color, kept the shroud on to hide his beautiful setup, and got teased quite a bit at the local fields, until they saw him ripping that thing. It was quite sweet.

Owned cockers since 94, havent used the cover ever. And no, the hoses wont come off if you get hit in the pneus.

I played with the shroud on this past weekend... The field owner and the manager were looking at my marker and asked me if I wanted to sell it (!). They also told me that if I wanted to be cool, I needed to cut the shroud so that it slides over the pneumatics completely instead of stopping at the vertical ASA.

I think I will play with the shroud off next time to blind and awe my targets with shiny brass.

What's the point of covering up all the pretty stuff that goes on the front of a 'cocker? Play naked baby!

I always play naked. I even went so far as to give away my old aluminum shroud here on the pay it forward.
