They can be quite tight... I had to use a dowel down the front LPR mount to bash mine out.

Yep, I've had that happen with an actual Trilogy valve. Apparently it didn't like sitting for months without oil.

The half block Black Magics and SRs use the same valve size as the Trilogies?

What was the difference between the cheap trilogy and the more expensive ones valve wise? I heard the cheapest one of the 3 would only operate properly at full tank output pressure.

The Sport (cheap one) was made to use CO2 or just straight from an HPA tank. I don't think the valve is different, but I believe the springing is different. It also has no regulator. The Competitions and Tacticals were made to use regulated HPA (or CO2). The Pro is just a spiffier version of the Competition with some some aesthetic differences.

The inlet on the Sport is noticably smaller in diameter than the delrin SR valve I had laying around, and the brass valve off my 06 BM. I wonder how those two valves (identical with exception of material) compare to the "LP" valves.
