aftermarket wgp inline reg caps???

Slowcode mentioned in this thread: Allright, essential 'cocker modifications? I want input., that "The stock main regulator is actually a very reliable one. I still run a few stock WGP regs on my snipers and other then not being able to adjust them (unless you want to buy an aftermarket cap) they are reliable."

What's this aftermarket cap? I'm curious.

It replaces the bottom part of the reg, moves the inlet port to the side, and makes the adjustment external so you don't have to remove the air fitting. They are/were made by AKA and were quite spendy. I have one on my VLM......

I didn't see them on AKA's site, you may have to call them and see if they have any in stock.....

AKA's Site

Good Luck,

AKA stopped producing them. Airsoldier had a few for a while, but I think he's sold out also. I found mine on ebay if I'm not mistaken. They're a pretty rare thing to come across. They didn't sell well because people assume the stock reg sucks. With the cap, the reg is actually very good - comparable to a genX style or a stab.

Way out of production , your best bet is to post a WTB ad or hit the old shops and ebay.

Or one of WGP's many other regs which are really mostly the same inside.

Pick up a WGP Black Magic or Ergo reg. They are pretty much the same, and can be found for $15-$25......

They werent successful because people would just rather replace the stock reg than pay almost the cost of a replacement for a simple upgrade part.

Its a cool component, id bet old stock is still sitting in quite a few paintball shops.
