There are many changes over they years.

One of the main differences between "Pre 2K" and 2K is the size of the banjo bolt that holds the front block to the body.
Pre 2K is smaller than those made after the year 2000.

Bolt length is different between the two. Back blocks as well.
A '99 bolt will not work with a 2000 back block.
A '99 bolt and '99 back block will work on a 2K gun. as will a '00 bolt and BB on a '99 gun.

'97 and earlier have a different velocity adjuster system. Its a barrel type assembly that is held in with the beavertail screw. '98 and newer have a threaded body and what is called an IVG.

Working pressures are different .Newer guns tend to run at a little bit lower input pressure from the reg.

There is alot of little things as well. Kinda hard to know where to start and stop.

For example, earlier guns ( 97 and older) tend to be better for 12gr use as the internals air passages are smaller and can be made to be more efficient than later models

Does anyone know which year saw the first centerfeed bodies with threaded feed necks?

also slider trigger plates are different

There is 98+ and 97-

The banjo hole is different obviously between 2k+ and 99-

I believe the first centerfeeds were between 98 & 2000
Because originally wgp was not going to make a centerfeed until aka made VLM (vertical loading marker) body kits.

which resulted in a lawsuit

Let's not forget the introduction of the top-drilled hole for hammer adjustment lug in 98.

Because everyone remembers the pain of taking off the frame to adjust the hammer lug, the other way!

not wgp :]

wgp and aka went to court over the whole Vertical Loading Marker thing.

AKA made it because wgp said they wouldn't from my understanding. I could be wrong though
