if you are shooting it, and it only venting out the bottom/back but not actually leaking, you dont need to rebuild the pilot, or the solenoid- the poppet is just stuck. sand the inside of the valve body starting with 400, 800, 1000, up to 2000 grit sandpaper, use water when you get to the 1000 + grit, and follow all that up with a good polish. it will make a WORLD of difference in the operation of that valve.

if you dont know how to do it, have someone do it for you. its not hard to do, but you can screw it up if your aren't careful.

oh yea, what version of the eblade are you using? later versions don't handle the MQ 1 quite so well.

Why would the newer boards handle the solenoids poorer? The mq1 solenoid is identical to the mq2 solenoid.. It's just parts of the poppet and the enclosed pilotbody/housing that's the difference.. + "reinforced" wires by putting some plastic tubing on the wires...

It is a simple matter of timing ranges in the board not going far enough one way or another. Example: on a e2 v1.10, the "Con" time range was reduced to a max of 4ms. The mq1 likes around 5-7ms, depending on the pressure range of the individual gun.

Edit: the differences in the mq2 poppet allow it to handle the later e2 boards better.
