How far is the IVG screwed in? Make sure that there is nothing (ie shell) binding the bolt. Pull the ivg and hammer and make sure the mainspring isn't bound up or any grit in the lower tube. Good luck! Pat.

kinda just thought...would the block rod would make the issue,as i took off the eblade frame and makin it back to mechanical,as the eblade rod is straight and the mechanical is slightly curved...i still have the straight rod on w/the shocktech ram

since your switching to mechanical, i would have to guess that your 3way timing is off, causing the gun to not recock. If it is difficult to pull the back block back, then you can turn your lpr down some.

If the pump rod has no bend, it could be binding slightly in the ram. However if the internals are not gunked up and there isn't anything in the breech, I would have to agree with the other posters and say that your timing is off. You are pulling the back block against the air pressure, that is why its so tough. Check to make sure that the timing rod isnt too tight and opening the air passage to the rear of the ram. Try it de gassed and see how easy it is to cock manually. Pat.

I would go on to youtube and type "autococker timing". I know several paintball techs have done good videos walking you through step by step. I actually would advise the one below that techpb did (even better if you can still find their high def version on their site). His not only tells you how to time it, but also completely disassemble, clean, reassemble, time, AND TUNE the autococker for performance and efficiency. I will warn you that it is 45 minutes long. But I would advise you to just follow him step by step and pause the video at each step to do it to your own autococker. They really are quite easy to set up / time / tune once you realize how they work. If you have any specific issues after that, I'm happy to help in any way I can. I always tear down autocockers when I get them to clean all the internals, put fresh lubricant on the o-rings, and re-assemble as too many people try to fix autocockers and just mess them up. I'd rather start from scratch because I trust my own work (and it is fun).
