Another cocker timing question

Hey guys. I understand how cockers work and all. But im having a slight issue. Mine likes to shoot.. and then right after the pop from the shot. it recocks really close to the shot. Should i just raise the hammer a little bit? Hope you guys can help.

Sounds like you have it timed perfectly- there is a theory that having the air moving down the barrel will create suction. If the bolt is moving back while the ball is moving down the barrel. Does it work who knows? but i have seen proof of it working (had it on my old cocker). If you put a tissue on the feed shoot a ball and see if the tissue gets suck down into the feed tube!

Mines got blow back. Not suction. Should i adjust the 3 way screw away from the trigger or toward the trigger.?

Raise your hammer lug a little so the sear releases earlier in your trigger pull. Personal preference of mine is to have them as close as possible. Reduces the chance of short stroking.

There are some very good step-by-step videos on youtube showing you how to time an autococker properly. Just go to youtube and type "autococker timing" then follow step by step.

(Depending on a few things, you either need to adjust the hammer lug, the 3-way, or both). If the hammer is released late in the trigger pull, then you need to have the hammer release sooner, which means raising the hammer lug. If the hammer is releasing in the first 0-15% or so of the pull, then the problem is that the 3-ways is activating too soon and you need to adjust the 3-way.
