Hey guys i got this idea from another forum so-you know you shoot a cocker when....
your teammate makes a mad rush to where you are to ask you to shoot someone out cuz their gun was shooting all over the place.
when each time you pull another cocker out of your bag people ask "whats that one?"

When you spend more time in the staging area than in the field.

...when someone looks at pics of your marker and says "that will make a great sniper".
...when you say "timing" but mean the results of more than 5 different variables, all of them set to your own liking.
...when you look at a mag and wonder why somebody would pay so much for a regulator.
...when you look at an A5 and wonder how they hit anything.
...when you don't have to ask if a given barrel kit will fit your marker.
...when you refer to the "good old days" and mean the late 1990's.
...when you can point to any single part on the marker, describe its proper name, it's proper function, who made it, how it works in concert with all the other parts, and describe the effect it has on the system when it starts acting up.
...when you really start to believe in things like 'suction timing', paintball fairies (they live in lapco barrels), and 'palmer goodness'... and you cant make a rational argument why anything works better aside from it 'feeling' better.
...when your marker has a wider variety of brand names in it or on it than a nascar has sponsorship decals.

and lastly:
...when you can count on your marker to fail you at some point, and yet is is just better than having a marker that wont fail.

...when your own friends don't want you on their team because they know at some point during the day, your marker will fail.

...when your buddies still won't pick you for their team although you insist your tweaking of the gun at the chrono has made it 100% reliable.

...when your comments on the field become self-centered: my gun _____ (chopped, jammed, double-fed, etc)

...when you start using phrases such as "more reliable" after you change how the gun came from the factory (pre-electronic markers)

Is it sad that I find teching pretty much anything isn't a challenge anymore?

when you look at your mask and there's two little scratch marks on each side of the lens under your eyes from the beaver tail or when you don't use one

...when no one can believe a paintball gun can be that quiet.
...when you pull three of them out of your bag at the start of the day just in case one does not work and a spare when one goes down on the field.
