Never heard of a steaming phantom or duel lever action. What is the extra lever for? Is the steam co2 mist or steam punk style? Good idea for the asa extender I think i have it worked out though. I will carve some 1/4 inch od hex nuts from plastic or brass and press them into the plugs in the reg. To remove them you just put a screw in all the way.

I started with splitting the arm for duel pump/lever rods. Then tried to bend a test piece witch broke so i tried annealing it, It then bent a lot easier. So i annealed the lever and started bending the arms. It all seemed fine till it didn't quite clear the reg so i tried to spread it by hitting a 1 inch steel bar between the arms. The lever slipped in the vise just a bit witch i didn't notice. (had the plastic spacers like first pic) Then with one wack the vise jaw cut almost half way threw one arm. On to plan B a (two piece lever) I might use some stainless so i can bend it with out any trouble.

I made a bit of progress today but still have some final bending to do along with drilling the holes for pivot and trimming off the excess metal.
p.s be careful when loaning tools my grinder came back with no guard and believe me it hurts when you grind your hand!

Not yet. There is a bit of trimming to do on the inside of the bend and i want to slot the stainless for the loop to bolt in securely witch will allow me to have the pivot further from the bend giving more clearance. There is about 3/4 inch of movement at the top of the arms when i pivot it in my hands. It only needs about an inch so i am not too worried

Yeah steam punk. Auto correct got me. I had wanted two levers, one on each side of the trigger just for the sake of extravagance.

It seems to have enough throw just need to make new back block, finish the linkage, trim and smooth the stainless. For now i have some nuts from rc car in the allen wrench holes of the reg's plugs for the pivot.

So i made some delrin nuts 3/16 for the pivot. It now has no play at all. I also sanded and trimmed the arms down for aesthetics and threaded a fiberglass rod for the linkage i also made a nifty little clamp to attach it to the arm. Its only got one cocking rod for now but it works.

Looks quite nice. Do the arms get in the way of your left hand at all? I assume you just grip low enough down.
