love it!

I used to shoot USPSA and his 'splits' (time between shots) is as fast as I was with a compensated .45 auto.

I got a brand new never seen before design for a 4grip. Wait a minute it looks just like my levers loop. I think I have been reading too many posts by Ironchef. p.s. Fast for anything except full auto

Are you hooking your thumb through the loop of the foregrip? Looks good.

No the thumb and pointer finger are on the sides and pinch the tip of grip then the other three fit threw. (looks a bit awkward from the right but it's not) Now what do I make it out of. (I don't think the cardboard will hold up very long and the sillypuddy mount is sketchy) Last pic from left to right 1" aluminum scrap, Delrin scrap, first mock up/brainstorm, and second mock up. I am leaning towards the aluminum. In first pic motorcycle is my late Grandpa flying over some dunes in socal sirca 1970

I decided i want top of fore grip flush with where the frame is notched for the barrel so it will have to be troughed out to wrap around the lower part of the barrel this will give me more room for mounting screw and make it lighter. I also will move it back a 1/4 "or so also making it lighter. This will fit my scrap a bit better. Almost have the mock up where i want it just a bit more work.

This is very cool and original. Its one of the coolest custom projects i have seen in a long tine, very nice work. Its refreshing to see something new like this especially with a DIY style with simple hand tools. 5 stars.

Thanks CO I just wanted to share an honest experience and make a lever action. Sometimes when you mess up and almost scrap your part you can turn around and make it even better. I was pretty pissed after spending a few hours splitting the aluminum arms and bending them to have to just cut it off because i swung the hammer too hard. Turned out better with the stainless arms anyway. Here is the newest mock up pic I just cant cut the metal until I am satisfied. Seems like more of a part of the gun like this. I might add some finger reliefs on the inside?

Thanks TM a bit of progress this week Added a little bit of finger groves now I'm ready to make it but hack sawing 1" aluminum doesn't sound too fun so I drilled like 50 holes. Then hacked for like 5 min went real quick. Chemist I got a new short barrel.
