"Spacemanized" '98 STO Cocka

A few years ago, I got a sweet deal on this minty old STO with PPS goodies. I messed with it a little but never could get it tweaked out to my liking. Finally, I convinced Spaceman to give it one of his (in)famous tuneups. I just got it back and couldn't be happier.

He did an incredible job. I've always loved the old STO bodies and it makes quite a sleeper.

Supposedly tuning this gun was a bear. In Spaceman's words: "Your cocker is the LAST cocker I have and will take as work... feel proud you broke my spirit."

'98 WGP STO
-PPS Rock
-PPS Quickswitch
-PPS Quick Ram
-PPS Stabilizer
-PPS LT Valve
-TASO Humper frame
-Belsales Roller Sear
-AKA Lightning Bolt
-Deadlywind CF Barrel
-Tons 'O Spaceman Love
-Tuned for CO2

Thanks again James!

That is an absolutely beautiful STO. I have always wanted one of those. Consider me jealous

What kind of grip frame is that? I really like the rounded out portion on the lower back half. Looks like it would fit your palm perfectly! Beautiful sleeper, by the way. I am so jelous!! -Mike

I have the exact same grip on an old gun I have. It is nice. If I am not mistaken it is a Taso

I concur about the TASO grip. The humpack design of it was very unique. Nice cocker Dave!!

Those Taso frames are pretty comfy. IIRC Bob Long did a short run of those as well.

If you have some Lonestar/AR frames, Dan Sergison has made a number of these grips for Phantom/Spyder style frames.
