I got bored one day and just modified an Allen wrench, now its my fall back. Otherwise I ordered mine off Ebay.

it's definately too cheap of an item to try and "make your own" why make a hammer when you can buy a proper one for 5 bucks, i broke down and bought one and stopped trying to make my own and it was the best thing i could do.

May be a little late but Here ya go I just tried it when installing my CCM lower tube kit. Worked like a charm and didn't cost me a dime. Considering my newbieness to cockers, there were some hassles (like I didn't know there was a valve seating screw)...but if you've got a long socket driver, a 5/16" socket, and can take off the end of your cocking rod (which happens to be 5/16") you're set. |
