Anodizing a 3-Way

Curious what people opinions are on stripping and re anodizing a 3 way? Or even stripping and re anodizing all of the front pneumatics. I'm working on a few projects and am debating whether to ano them or not.

Fancy seeing you here. :p

I've ano'd multiple sets of front pneumatics for my markers and have had no trouble.

Yep. I got my hands on 4 B&E cocker bodies. Made by a small shop in Arkansas. I've got 4 of the 12 made with this milling. I'm working with the shop owner to make 2 of them pretty much stock, and 2 of them we are having some more milling done to, to make them a more modern version (v.2).

Thanks for the info. I wasn't too worried about the lpr. Just thought I would get some opinions on the 3 way and ram.

Cool. Got any pics of these B&E's?

Yeah, some bad cell phone photos for now. Ill take some better pictures once I get the 2 milled bodies back from jcurt. I'll take pictures throughout the process of building back up. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...d/IMAG0121.jpg

They look interesting. Fishbone-esque.

Stepchild 01-08-2013 01:22 AM

Yeah kind of fishbone, kind of convertible ripper. They called it rope milling. 2 were drilled for eyes 2 were not. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...d/IMAG0122.jpg

Rope, eh? They couldn't come up with a cooler name that combines Fishbone, Ripper, and Dark all in one word? :p

What's being done for the V2s?

We could name them the Dark Ripbone.:clapping: V.2 will be taking off some excess metal, mid blocking, ego style feedneck, just making it all around a little cleaner and lighter. I'll post pictures when we get them back from JCurt. Should be within the next week or so, I hope.

You can also use a Palmer Quikswitch or WGP Orracle/CT 3way. Tolerances wouldn't be as important since they have a brass cores.
