KAPP/Spanky fishbone cocker questions

So I found that cocker for sale...300$... and I was wondering if anyone had any information on it. I looked it up and they seem to be pre 2k. Is this true? Also, are there any problems with them? A friend of mine told me that the tube inserts for the internals are notorious for coming loose...is this true also? I'd like to use it for daily use so if anyone could answer my questions, it'd be great.

That's not a fishy, it's a ying yang cocker. Still a Spanky, and definitely pre-2k. The tubes do come loose from overtightening the frame grip screws. They go up and push into the lower tubes, cracking the resin holding the lower tubes. If it leaks, talk to Rainman. He fixes them and does it so that they won't ever leak again. And he does it for a very reasonable price. It should be fine for a mech daily user. It has a pressed in feedneck and the original backblock.

Ah, thanks alot for the help man. I really appreciate it. Also, standard cocker parts will fit this right? No proprietary nuttyness?

Nope, everything should be pretty much standard for a pre-2k. Like I said, if leaking, talk to Rainman. Great guy and fixes them really quickly and easily. Nice looking marker.
