Outkast Serial question

I picked up an e-outkast on craigslist a couple weeks ago. It looked like the redneck that sold it to me dipped it in paintball juice and then baked it on. After way too much time cleaning, it looks pretty nice. My question is how it has such a low serial number of 343 ? Did they start over numbers at any point in time? Im either going to sell it or pump it. Not sure yet.

Thanks,
Chris

Either it was milled off during milling or it was one of the really late ones when they switched over to laser engraved numbers not stamped.
