Autococker rebuild questions!

I'm looking to rebuild a pre 2k autococker pump. I was wanting to know if u can use new parts on them. Even if I can or can't I would like to hear a few good set up options. What are good parts that work well together? I really want a 2k+ but I must have a right side feed neck. Do they make them?

Yes, wgp made right feeds in 2000, 2001. You can use some new parts (most of the valve train). Make sure the bolt and backblock are for the same era (2k+) or pre2k. If the body you have is old enough it may not be drilled for the top access for the hammer lug. IVG systems vary also; hope yours is threaded. If not it will need sheridan springs or a Rex dialer or AKA hammer kit.

Some of your parts decisions will be based on air supply; co2 or hpa?

New parts like what, for example? Are you talking generic paintball stuff (regulators and ASA's, etc) or.... ?

I'm just looking for better quality and performance than stock parts.

Yes I'm new. I'm not trying to post my first sale thread. I'm just wanting some feed back from more experienced autococker pump users.

The only thing better than stock parts would be a CCM pump kit and a nice slider like a DYE. Other than that, stock valving/springing is pretty good, unless you're looking to eek out that last bit of efficiency from your gun.

And God replied, “Just wait and see the neighbors I shall inflict upon them.”

If you are looking to scratch build a gun and haven't decided on parts yet, here's a possible deal you could work out that I stumbled apon tonight.

Painball Gateway still has these Super Bowl kits available.
Super Bowl Special Combo

While searching for a cheaper decent deluxe pump kit, I started looking into the Check It Tactical kit (which, btw, has gathered some very good reviews, we'll soon see). Not only is it cheaper to buy the Tactical pump in the Superbowl kit (by $9.95!!!), but you also get a complete body to boot.
You'll find that most of these bodies in circulation are going for roughly $60, on ebay and a couple in the forums. Sell the body for $40 shipped, and you should be able to pick up a RF in excellent condition, with vert asa and back block, with that $40; more than likely less (~$25).

This way, you'll have a very decent start on your RF pump for less than $80 (a liberal $10 estimate for shipping from PB Gateway).
