| Well that sucks. So the only classic style of cocker design their going to continue is the trilogies, or they changing those too? Man I remember when I first started playing back in 97, the two big high dollar guns everybody wanted were the cockers and mags. Now new cockers sell for less then a kingman spyder. And mags are cheap and easy to find. Its kinda sad realy. And seems harder and harder to find non-elctro markers. |

| Rather than bemoan the fact that they are cheap we should be taking advantage of this purge to stock up. If I didn't have 4 perfectly good and sexy looking autocockers already I'd be in for one. But for anyone that wants to experience them this is a golden time.

| Endearingly quirky | I'm chomping at the bit to pick up one of the $130 Select Fire Superstockers. I'm not really an electro guy, but they've got enough mechanical stuff going on enough to intrigue me. Now all I need is a spare $130.

| So does anyone recommend buying a new superstocker or wait until the are on the resale market?...never owned one..just a thought to add to collection?..Not interested in gaining value...just a mint marker to pickup and play with time to time.... |

| Hawaiian-shirted hooligan | I've read where some folks are looking at buying the Super Stock and turning them into pumps. They mentioned selling off the Worr blade/e frame to offset the cost of the gun, so you could possibly piece together one soon. However, with that said, there will be some who buy them, try them, and decide they don't like them as it was a passing whim. It may just be worth your while to wait a little bit before getting one.

After reading some of the question/problem threads in the PBN cocker sections started by new owners of the bargain priced SS cockers, I would be very wary of buying a "like new" "hardly used" SS from someone because they most likely screwed it up because they were ignorant of how to handle an autococker. Some things can of course be easily fixed but blown noids and fried electronics are more expensive to fix than just buying a new marker.
