Have you tried flipping the urethane seal in the piston as well? You may need a dental pic or similar tool to dislodge the seal. A total rebuild may be easier. Here is a 2 part video.

Not that I'm an expert, but I figured for a vent hole leak it pretty much had to be either the piston oring or the piston stem oring. Maybe there's dirt/debris in it?
I applaud you for getting to the piston though... I hate trying to open those things up.

Yeah I had to macgyver a normal pair of needle nose players into c clip pliers. The shim stack seems fine and completely the way it came stock. A leak from the exhaust pinhole means too much pressure right? I need an o ring kit for this god damn thing
