| Bizarre Accuracy problem Ok i recently started have very odd accuracy problems. First off my autococker hadn't worked since like 2001ish maybe 2000 It was having some sort of cycling issue that i could never solve, well finally last week i picked it up and figured out my ram wasn't cycling easily. So the stock brass one went back on. Yay for brass. Ok, gun is cycling great except for some reason the accuracy is incredibly bad. I was consistantly having balls winging out in huge arcs and cork screws. I tried it with the 10 inch stock barrel, the 8 inch stainless dye barrel and the 14in Long shot all with the same results. The breech is clean and the barrels are also. The paint is good. The SL-68 and Sterling love it. And i don't know what the problem is. The front of the STO bolt was a little foul and the chrome was flaking and a touch corroded so i polished it up a while ago, so its possible the front part (not the face) of the bolt isn't perfectly round anymore but that shouldn't matter i don't think. Could it be as simple as my velocity just being way too high? I am running my gun on regulated HPA. I need help... Madmox

| If your velocity is too high, as in 400 fps, that could make the balls corkscrew. Check the inside of your bolt where the air flows through, and make sure it is all clean and round, crap in there could make the air only hit one side of the ball. Last, check the paintballs, I often grab a bag of paint that looks round on the top, but down at the bottom the balls are all dimpled from sitting. |

| I'm thinking the velocity is way high. Turn out the IVG and see if it improves or get to a chrony.
