I am about to cry.

So I get my '99 Mini Sniper kit from WWA in astounding time (5 days! To Canada!) and wow, nice kit, right? Right, it is. No problems with that, happy with it. So I go to put it on my pride and joy, my Twister body, and I noticed something... funny... like how it won't seat the mockblock/asa to the body. So I take that off, and try just the main pump guide arm, and I'm shocked and horrified. The threads on the body were messed up when being tapped for the front block. They angle down and to the right. Which means what? The body is a freaking lemon.

I need help bad, here's pics, I'm about to send an e-mail to the seller, he told me nothing of this.

bummer! And 'cause of the milling, you couldn't even drill & tap it to post-2k specs.

Exactly, and then I'd still be in need of a new pump kit. :*(

More likely I'll try and find a different decent side-feed pre-2k Mini body... I got one of the last kits of Joe's last batch of '99 kits... dont really want to sell it, especially since I just got it, especially at a loss... you know.

I don't know if it'd work or not but,you could try redrilling the hole and helicoiling the threads so that they are straight

There was a nice grey ano'd one on ebay last week. Also, there's this. Avery (amcfall) cut down & re-threaded a full size body for $20 (I think). Might want to get it re-ano'd as well. Please buy it before I do. I don't need it, yet am strangely drawn to green things...

Not enough meat on the twister body... I don't think it could work out, seems like it might be the only route available though.
