Hey guys, I bought a WGP pump a few days ago very cheap, going to the field to test it out tomorrow, but I cant figure out how to adjust the velocity. I tried using google but after 10 mins of reading threads that did not help me, I gave up. Came here because a friend told me this is the best place to go if you have questions and need answers Heres a pic of the gun. Any help would be awesome.

To adjust velocity, you are going to need to remove the cocking rod. thats the rod sticking out of the back of the lower tube. put a 3/8" allen wrench into the hole where the cocking rod came out. There is a big nut threaded into the body, called an IVG, that adjusts tension on the main spring. simply put the cocking rod back in, chrono your shot, then repeat untill you are in the right velocity range.

It's a 3/16" allen wrench, not a 3/8", 3/8" is huge, lol.

That's how you do it though, turning it clockwise increases it, and turning it counter-clockwise decreases it. The manual says a 1/4 of a turn will yield a 15-20 FPS change, I dunno about that since I adjusted mine through the reg, I just leave my IVG in the middle of the body, for now anyways, I really need to sweet-spot my gun.

Is that a reg or a gas through grip? If its a reg, the better way to change the velocity is by the reg pressure. you set the IVG right at the spring, turn it in 2 or 3 turns, then control velocity by reg. this way you never have to touch the spring, which will make cocking hard as you increase tension. If its not a reg, you should get one. If your using HPA.
