Well this depends - what body from what manufacturer? What year of autococker? I bought a complete post 2k cocker from an online deal for $50 shipped. Post back with what info you have and that will allow us to give you better advice. Your post unfortunately is too vague.

OK well I have to ask a question. Are you going for an autococker or are you planning on building a Sniper (pump gun) out of it? If you're going for a performance level mech autococker, then steer toward a post 2k RF gun. Your years will be 2000 to 2002 (In 03, the RF was discontinued). This way you'll have a huge variety of aftermarket parts to choose from and you'll be better off running compressed air through it. Secondly, if you're looking to go with CO2, maybe using 12g cartridges, or building a Sniper with the intention of using CO2, then a pre-2k body is more than likely what you want due to efficiency of the smaller valve chamber. In all, there is really no way that can help without seeing a picture of the gun you are looking at. Price depends on condition of the gun and what accessories, if any, are coming with it. The best way would be to post a Want To Buy (WTB) ad here and see what offers are put your way. Let me know if it's going to be a performance RF autococker or a Sniper. This way we can get you off on the right foot.

Alright what you need is a post 2k body. That's step one. I would say you could find a RF body for $30 - $50. You will want the stock valve and springs. They are quite nice and efficient regardless what aftermarket manufacturers might say. I would say a delrin bolt as well. Post any more ques.

I've got a pair of RF 2k bodies - based on the serial numbers I think 2002 and 2003. I got one in a mostly working cocker with a barrel for $60 and the other for... I think $110 with a WGP pump kit. Both of these were complete - the semi needed a new actuator rod, but was otherwise in good shape. The pump worked great out of the box. I would suggest getting a complete gun w the body you're looking for. You can either use the parts in projects like I did - or sell off the extra stuff. There are a few great sales still running on this forum and others for small AC parts (see Bacci) to complete your project markers. Under the right circumstances I may part with one of the bodies - but would need something in their place to keep the markers up and running. |
