Those 2k valves work very poorly higher than what the regs are factory set at, if I remember correctly.

Unfortunately I don't have a slider frame I want to be rid of, but check the misc items B/S/T forums here, there are usually a lot of them for sale at any given time. The plastic stock 2k sliders weren't that great, but the all metal ones are fantastic.

I've got a pair of those RF 2k bodies - one worked running the tank w/o reg - the other didn't. The one that did got ok efficiency - but not great - so yes, you'll need to look at respringing (or replaceing the whole valve assembly).

IF you throw the tank on there and it won't even burp when you dry fire it - the pressure is too much and is holding the valve shut.

It's the stock reg, stock bolt and stock pneumatics. This will turn into a very capable sniper for you.

As people have said - that's the grip frame from a later gun - which became standard on the prostock.

I have that same marker with frame although i got it with all dye parts i traded to get the right parts back together. Accepted for the barrel and the ASA it looks just like it. and if that dating site is right, its a 2002 model.
